Mark has been working in the outdoor industry for 27 years. Starting in Pembrokeshire as a multi-activity instructor in his teenage years, he then moved to the Lake District to study a BSC Hons Degree in Outdoor Education. His mountaineering led him to the European Alps and it was here he trained with the British Mountain Guides Association. After 15 years of climbing and skiing worldwide, together with guiding in the high arctic, Mark gained his IFMGA Diploma. He now works and climbs with private clients all over the world including the Himalaya, European Alps and here in West Wales. Mark also brings a wealth of experience in "journeying" after spending 5 years adventure racing for Team Wales on the global circuit, and went on to organise and guide adventure journey programmes for Impact Development Training Group in the Lake District.
Kev was both born and raised in the heart of Pembrokeshire. Roaming the rolling landscape and coastline from an early age and being naturally drawn into adventure through intrigue and mischief, quickly led to a deep rooted appreciation and love for the surrounding countrysde. Days exploring the local coastline, rivers and hills through whatever means possible quickly became a lifelong association with outdoor adventure.
Whitewater kayaking and canoeing became a focus in early years, with rock climbing and winter sports now firm favourites.
Kev got drawn into a career in Project and Operations Management, maintaining his love for adventure in his spare time as an freelance outdoor instructor, and inevitably hooking up with Mark whenever possible for adventures further afield.
Kacka has had a passion for the outdoor since she was a little girl. Mountain biking, skiing, paddling and wild camping were part of her everyday life, so it was no surprise she gained her Masters in Sport Education. Whilst studying, Kacka worked for several outdoor companies providing adventure journeys , outdoor education and teambuilding.
After 5 years living in the French Alps enjoying the snow and rock, she moved to West Wales to raise a family, who now also enjoy the fabulous outdoor lifestyle.
